Baltimore City Nineteenth-Century Photos

This pair of fascinating photos depicts a late 19th or early 20th-century parade on Fort Avenue in Locust Point. Both of these floats, which look very similar were sponsored by the Baltimore Retort and Fire Brick Company. In the left photo, John Lang is second from the left.

On the right is another float in the same parade. Pictured here is Franz Behrendt, the fifth man from the left.
