I do not know what is under the poncho liner on the passenger seat. 

The bunker behind houses a DC generator for the radios. They were put in bunkers mostly to keep them dry and hold down the noise in the area.

 Sid, one of the radio repairmen I worked with.

 

More, Sid. Sid was his nickname.  

 Crossing these ditches was always a challenge. Just hope you don't slip and fall in the red guu.

Note the building in the background. The barrel is a home made shower. There was no running water on the bases. The barrel was filled in the morning, if the sun shown brightly you had warm water for a shower that evening.
